Here's part two of A-Sides' exclusive performances taken at the Savannah Stopover Festival last month. Again, watch some great bands performing great tracks in the great, rich-in-history, sometimes-creepy city of Savannah. Just the music. A-Sides Live filmed by Jon Paul Graham. Before we get to a second round of vids, check out JPG's photo slideshow of the fest here.

Raccoon Fighter
Brooklyn indie rockers Raccoon Fighter are so raw, gritty and rocking with a touch of the blues that sometimes I feel like I'm listening to T-Rex. But, sometimes. For most of the times, I'm just digging their own sound. Listen to the garage rockers' A-Sides performance of "My Ticket" and pick up their latest album ZIL, and then thank me profusely for the recommendation.

River Whyless
It's rare for musicians to breakthrough with a unique sound anywhere really. Yeah, they're out there but you really have to listen for it. Asheville, NC's River Whyless fits the mold with their folky pop goodness. Watch their infectious, ALIVE performance for A-Sides captured at the Stopover's Artists' Lounge. Snag their A Stone, A Leaf, An Unfound Door LP yesterday.

Leverage Models
Leverage Models are in the midst of a nationwide tour - which included stops through SXSW and Savannah Stopover. Focusing on the latter, the band, who just dropped their self-titled album, full-length debut, filmed an A-Sides with Jon Chattman session at that fest's Artists' Lounge, and here it is embedded beautifully below. Click play, because this band - which has nearly a dozen members from all walks of music life - just crushes it and I don't use that term lightly - at least not since the 1980s.

Spirit Animal
NYC-based party-rock quartet, Spirit Animal, returned to A-Sides with a unique take on their track "Love Crime" off their This is a Test EP from 2012. Their party spirit is definitely intact on this one. Potty humor likely ensued after the shoot, which took place in the Stopover Artists' Lounge potty room.

New Madrid
Trippy somewhat hippy rock throwbacks New Madrid performed a track at the Savannah Stopover Festival Artists' Lounge for A-Sides, and it was fittingly trippy, hippy cool. Enjoy this Athens, GA band and pick up their debut Yardboat and their Ghosts & Fire EP.

Curtin
This Brooklyn-born rock duo are touring in support of their new album One for the Doghearted and just have a cool vibe going on. Cool kids I say. Check them out here on A-Sides filmed at the Savannah Stopover Artists' Lounge and grab more info here -

About A-Sides Music
Jon Chattman's "A-Sides Music" series was established in August 2011 and usually features artists (established or not) from all genres performing a track, and discussing what it means to them. This informal series focuses on the artist making art in a low-threatening, extremely informal (sometimes humorous) way. No bells, no whistles -- just the music performed in a random, low-key setting followed by an unrehearsed chat. In an industry where everything often gets overblown and over manufactured, I'm hoping this is refreshing. Artists have included: fun, Pharrell Williams, American Authors, Imagine Dragons Jake Miller, Gary Clark Jr., Sleigh Bells, Danger Mouse, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, San Fermin, and more!
