HitFix, a Los Angeles-based producer of entertainment news and reviews, editorially positioned somewhere between Variety and TMZ, has found an enormous audience for its videos with 90 million monthly video views via Web syndication and outdoor media, says Jennifer Sargent, CEO and co-founder in this video interview with Beet.TV

The company has under 25 employees and has raised about $9 million in angel investment. Before founding the company, Sargent oversaw online strategy for Reed, then owner of Variety and many other titles. She had previously worked in venture capital and at Google's DoubleClick unit.
