Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Season 1, Episode 7 of HBO's The Leftovers, titled "Solace for Tired Feet."

I just don't know anymore if I like this show or want to get it pregnant and leave it in a dark room with $6,000, a coke addict, and a gun.

Things I'm Having Trouble Accepting

1) Jill and her crew. They are so bad, right?! And entirely unbelievable as human teenagers. The sultry BFF in the kitchen (is she hitting on Dad?). The "invocation, Garvey!" routine. Why did a kid disappear in a fridge? Was it the day of the rapture? Is everyone so broken that even classic teenage norms have changed? Why don't they just smoke cigarettes in the woods and talk like regular apathetic high schoolers?

2) Gramps. Fine -- he's randomly running through the woods. I'll buy it for plot necessity alone. Is he schizophrenic because of the rapture or was he crazy before? Is his ramblings about "accepting" the crazy supposed to be real? Like he and the preacher are another cult leader, gathering all the people that feel in town to bond together and run around in their bathrobes? And what's the timeline on this judge and the money, because it keeps popping up and I want to know more about the people who departed.

3) We're not going to find out about the departed. I thought maybe we could spend a season trying to figure out what happened, but that ship has sailed. I get it: it's called 'The Leftovers' for a reason, and I wouldn't want it to go 'Under the Dome' on us and have to put up with the hunt for a supernatural event, but it's still very unsatisfying.

4) Kevin. Did we know he was on all of those pills? That would have helped me understand his little blackout a little quicker, don't you think? Could he and Nora be more boring? Thank goodness that he's attractive because I'm not sure I would still care about anything, at all.

5) Tom. Please call your father and just come home already, weirdo.

What are you guys thinking? Still into it just for fun? Let me know @karenfratti or in the comments.

"The Leftovers" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on HBO.
