Last weekend FYF Fest celebrated it's 11th year as a quickly-growing Los Angeles staple music festival by kicking things off in their brand new location: the LA Sports Arena and Exposition Park. The weekend consisted of many different bands ranging from local bands Haim and Joyce Manor, to indie rock staples The Strokes, Phoenix and Interpol, to the reunion of hardcore band The Blood Brothers and the recently reunited predominant shoegaze band, Slowdive. With a somewhat rocky beginning on Saturday, FYF quickly listened to festival goers to turn things around on Sunday, making it an overall successful weekend in their new home.
